Once again I would like to pay my respects and gratitude to the uncle I never knew, George Quartly. George died in battle during WW II, so that we may all be free.
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old;
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.
They were young, as we are young,
They served, giving freely of themselves.
To them, we pledge, amid the winds of time,
To carry their torch and never forget.
We will remember them.
