Love this one! I rediscovered this shot today while going through the old photos of our trip to Vienna, Austria in 2015. This was a beer ad found on the side of a bus shelter. Translation: “A good beer has always been demanded by good company”.

As many know, Vince and I usually take a couple of weeks in mid-September to visit some European country or other. This year our destination was to be Belgium but, as with almost all things in life these days thanks to COVID-19, our plans were forcibly jettisoned. So…. where could we travel this year? Europe is out, South America is out, Asia is out as well, and the U.S. is… 

Land’s End, U.K.

Land’s End is literally the end of the land in England, the very south-west tip. There is no more land west of here until you hit Newfoundland. The scenery here is quite dramatic, to say the least. I took these shots on September 28, 2018, during my photo tour of Cornwall in the U.K.:
